Opening its doors in April 2010 The Brewery Tap became the first pub in the Bank Top Brewery Estates portfolio. It was joined by its sister pub The Ale House in December 2013.
A modern approach to a ‘traditional’ pub, both the Tap and the Ale House have no TV, Juke Boxes or Fruit machines. Quiet background music and beer gardens with heated areas create a comfortable atmosphere for the true beer enthusiast.
Each pub offers nine cask ale hand pumps, eight of which rotate through the Bank Top range, the ninth being solely for a variety of guest beers from some of the country’s most popular breweries. The popular ‘tasting trays’ offer customers the opportunity to sample the variety of beers in third of a pint glasses. A large range of traditional ciders are also available, these too can be served in third of a pint glasses – ‘the cider paddle’ There are also several draught continental lagers, an extensive wine list and a large selection of international bottled beers.
The Brewery Tap has had a flying start with numerous accolades to its name, the most recent being voted ‘Spring Pub of the Season 2013’ and ‘Cider Pub of the Year 2013’ by Bolton CAMRA and its members.
