Our Pubs

Opening its doors in April 2010, The Brewery Tap became the first pub in the Bank Top Brewery Estates portfolio. It was joined by its sister pub The Ale House in December 2013 and then by the third, The Old England Forever in April 2019.

A modern approach to a ‘traditional’ pub, the trio, the Tap, Ale House and Old England Forever have no TV, Juke Boxes or Fruit machines. Instead, quiet background music and beer gardens with heated areas create a comfortable atmosphere for the true beer enthusiast.

Each pub regularly features in the annual Good Beer Guide and offer a selection of cask ale on hand pump rotating through the Bank Top range, one hand pump at each pub is solely for guest beers sourced from some of the country’s most popular breweries.

In addition to cask ale, each pub offers traditional ciders, draught continental lagers, an extensive wine list, a large selection of international bottled beers and numerous gins and spirits. Both the Tap and the Ale House have received numerous accolades from Bolton CAMRA and its members since their opening.

Located just two miles away from the home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, the Ale House is a great destination for home and away fans to enjoy pre and post-match drinks.

The Old England Forever is also well situated to welcome football fans visiting Accrington Stanley Football Club, just over a mile away from the pub.
